Peng Wang, MD PhD is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Molecular Pathologist at the University of Chicago Medicine & Biological Sciences Division. He is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Molecular Genetics Pathology. He received fellowship training at Hartford Hospital in Selective Surgical Pathology, followed by subspecialty fellowship training at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Molecular Genetics Pathology. Currently, he is the Associate Director of the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory at the University of Chicago. His academic research interests include liquid biopsy for early detection and follow up of solid tumors and developing sensitive NGS assay for monitoring MRD in leukemia. He has published predominantly on the histopathologic, molecular, and clinical features of various solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
