Abdulaziz Al Mana, MD, MBBS, MSc (Oxon), is a clinical fellow at the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, University of Minnesota. He is originally from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he received his medical degree (MBBS) from King Saud University. He also obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Radiation Biology from the University of Oxford, UK. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology, with board certifications in Clinical Pathology (CP) and Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine (BB/TM).
Dr. Al Mana currently works as a fellow doctor of Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Minnesota, Molecular and Cellular Therapeutics, Saint Paul, Minnesota. He underwent residency and fellowship training (CP and BB/TM) at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida, between 2018 and 2022. In addition, he recently completed his fellowship training in Molecular Genetic Pathology at the University of Minnesota, 2022-2023.
Dr. Al Mana has diverse interests in pathology, laboratory medicine, genetics, hematology/oncology, and precision medicine, with a particular clinical and research focus on molecular genetic pathology, transfusion medicine, stem cell transplantation, and cell/tissue therapies.
