Logan George, B.S., is a 5th year PhD candidate in the Pathobiology Program at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Under the mentorship of Dr. Rena Xian and Dr. Richard Ambinder, he studies the potential of Epstein-Barr Virus cell-free DNA as a biomarker for EBV-associated cancers. He is developing EBV cfDNA quantification assays to aid early and differential diagnosis of EBV+ cancers in endemic regions. Logan is also interested in technology development and commercialization, and he is currently working as a Commercialization Fellow at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures.
