Drew Hughes, MD/PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine. He completed an undergraduate degree in Mathematics at the College of William and Mary followed by an MD/PhD in Molecular Genetics and Genomics at Washington University School of Medicine. He stayed at Washington University School of Medicine for a Residency in Clinical Pathology as well as a Fellowship in Molecular Genetic Pathology. He is now Washington University School of Medicine faculty in the section of Molecular Oncology, where he focuses on clinical next-generation sequencing assays to support the diagnosis and management of patients with both liquid and solid tumors.
