Ayei Chang is an undergraduate student at Saint Louis University studying Medical Sciences with a minor in Biology and Health Care Ethics. She is a current researcher in the Randolph Lab at SLU investigating the sensitivity and specificity of Sickle Confirm and Zygotest to identify HbS and differentiate sickle cell trait from sickle cell disease. Chang was also a research intern at the Molecular Diagnostics Lab at AdventHealth Orlando. She is interested in research in the genomics and hematopathology areas. At SLU, she is involved in Asian American Association as the Senior Advisor, American Physician Scientists Association as the past PR Chair, Little Medical School as an instructor, and tutor at a local middle school in St. Louis.
