Dr. Daria Babushok is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and a physician-scientist with expertise in bone marrow failure diseases. She obtained her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her residency in internal medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by a fellowship in hematology-oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. In her clinical practice, Dr. Babushok specializes in the care of adult patients with inherited and acquired bone marrow failure disorders. Her laboratory research program is dedicated to understanding the pathogenic mechanisms of acquired bone marrow failure and investigating the development and significance of clonal genetic changes in these conditions. Through her research, Dr. Babushok aims to improve the care of patients with bone marrow dysfunction by developing targeted therapies based on a deeper understanding of the underlying genetic and molecular mechanisms.
