Parth Shah is the physician scientist and the Director of Genome Informatics at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. He has led the development of the Dartmouth Cloud which is a HIPAA compliant environment for clinical workloads as well as research and development. He has since co-led the developement and deployment of a clinical genomics informatics suite for clinical somatic exome and transcriptome sequencing for all solid and hematological malignancies.Development of full interaction with the primary clinical data center, this genomics warehouse focuses on using the best of secure cloud capacities while taking advantage of available clinical data to scale research, discovery and clinical trial enrollment. This environment also focuses on integration of additional sources of data such as slide imaging data to develop cohesive models integrating genomic, imaging and clinical data while using cloud infrastructure for extensive developement, storage and training. As a result Dartmouth has rapidly built and scaled data centers upto almost 50000 cpu cores and petabytes of storage allowing dramatic acceleration of clinical genomics development and research.
