Dr. Geiersbach is a molecular pathologist and an Associate Professor in the Division of Laboratory Genetics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She received her M.D. from the University of Colorado and completed an Anatomic and Clinical pathology residency and Clinical Cytogenetics fellowship at the University of Colorado. She also completed a Molecular Genetic Pathology fellowship at the University of Utah / ARUP Laboratories. Dr. Geiersbach has dedicated her career to clinical service and teaching. Her primary areas of academic interest are in the genomics of solid tumors, and she has published over 40 papers that mostly relate to genetic alterations identified in human solid tumor tissue specimens.
