Kyle G. Rodino, PhD, D(ABMM) is the Assistant Director of the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory and Director of the Rittenhouse Molecular Laboratory at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Assistant Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine. Prior to receiving his PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, he was a medical technologist in the clinical microbiology laboratory at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Kyle completed an ASM CPEP fellowship in Clinical Microbiology at Mayo Clinic. His interests include the development, implementation, and clinical utility of advanced molecular diagnostics, including sequencing-based assays, as well as vector-borne diseases and ocular infections.
