Dr. Bishu (Biswajit) Das is a Senior Principal Scientist at the Molecular Characterization Laboratory in Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research. He completed his graduate studies in Molecular Biology at Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB) and received his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. He subsequently did his postdoctoral work at Carnegie Institution, Baltimore, MD. He has over 10 years of experience in developing genomic biomarkers to support clinical and preclinical studies at National Cancer Institute. His group supports genomic biomarker studies for multiple NCI sponsored clinical trials.
