He Fang is an Acting Assistant Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology and Assistant Director in the Genetic Division at the University of Washington, boasts a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Rochester. Her journey includes postdoctoral research on X chromosome inactivation at the University of Washington and successful completion of the university's Laboratory Genetics and Genomics fellowship program. Currently, He Fang works at UW Genetic Division overseeing clinical genetic testing, encompassing traditional cytogenetics and molecular genetics for both somatic and constitutional disorders. She's also dedicated to implementing innovative technologies to enhance genetic diagnoses and reduce turnaround times, demonstrating her commitment to advancing genetic medicine.
