Jacquelyn Reuther received her bachelor's in molecular and cellular biology from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi followed by a PhD in human and molecular genetics at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship within the pathology department at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital, focusing on NGS-based assay development. Following her training, she became a clinical analyst for the NIH CSER2 KidsCanSeq project at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital focusing on clinical case review of tumor and germline NGS panel, exome, transcriptome, and chromosomal microarray data. Currently, Jacquelyn is a genomic scientist within the somatic oncology team at Invitae completing clinical case reviews and assisting in assay validations. During her time at both Baylor College of Medicine and Invitae, her focus has additionally included cancer-based NGS assay and pipeline development.
