Clinical Fellow, Molecular Genetic Pathology
University of North Carolina School of Medicine
Dr. Leelatian is a neuropathologist and currently a clinical fellow in Molecular Genetic Pathology at The University of North Carolina. During her Ph.D. training at Vanderbilt University, she studied single-cell protein diversity in glioblastomas, using clinical specimens, to identify tumor cell subsets that drive poor outcomes. Her research focuses on discovering the molecular biomarkers that drive the pathogenesis of neurologic diseases, particularly brain tumors, and their implications for diagnosis, treatment, and clinical prognostication.
