Dr. Maryjka Blaszczyk, MD, PhD, is a PGY-4 in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She completed her medical degree at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and thereafter pursued a Ph.D. in Biological Anthropology from New York University, New York. Next year she will begin fellowship training in Molecular Genetic Pathology at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, and thereafter plans to pursue a career in academic medicine.
