Kristy Crooks, PhD, FACMG, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology, Director of the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine Biobank and Director of the Heritable Disease Testing in the Colorado Molecular Correlates Laboratory at the University of Colorado. After earning her PhD at Duke University, she completed clinical laboratory fellowships at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is board certified in Clinical Molecular Genetics and Clinical Cytogenetics by the American Board of Genetics and Genomics. Dr. Crooks’ research interests focus primarily on the application of emerging technologies for genetic diagnosis and on leveraging population screening to improve health outcomes.
