Dr. Lee is an assistant clinical professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles where he is the faculty lead in hematologic molecular testing and also provides clinical service in hematopathology. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology with subspecialty certification in hematopathology, molecular genetic pathology, and clinical informatics. He currently serves as an AMP Informatics Subdivision representative to the Training and Education Committee and chair of the AMP Education Community of Practice group. With a B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from University of California, Berkeley and a Ph.D. in applied physics from Harvard University, he spends part of his time outside of clinical service developing and programming software solutions for laboratory use and has research interests in the application of machine learning in anatomic pathology and hematopathology.
