Dr. Rapisardo is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and an Associate Director in the Division of Molecular Pathology, Genetics, and Genomics at Duke University. She is board-certified by the American Board of Clinical Genetics and Genomics in both Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics. Her experience includes a range of cytogenetic and molecular diagnostics, from conventional karyotyping, chromosomal microarray analysis, FISH, and somatic next-generation sequencing, to overseeing daily operations and leading cross-functional teams in accreditation efforts for a new laboratory buildout. As Director of Test Development, Dr. Rapisardo and the team manage the design, validation, implementation, and submission of technical assessments for new LDPs within the Duke Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory.
