Mariam Mathew is a clinical laboratory director at the Nationwide Children's Hospital, and Assistant professort (Clinical) at the Ohio State University. Her laboratory expertise includes the clinical validation and utilization of molecular and cytogenetics assays to aid in assessment of disease diagnostics, risk stratification, and patient management. She has broad interests in translational research in the oncology and somatic disease setting and serves on committes including the Cancer Genomics Consortium and the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI). She recieved her PhD at the University of Toronto, and the ABMGG Laboratory Genetics and Genomics fellowship at the University of Chicago.
