Session Description: Immunotherapy is a rapidly growing field in oncology with therapeutic applications across several tumor types. Identification of biomarkers predictive of response to immunotherapeutic agents is an ongoing area of research. iMATCH is a precision medicine clinical trial that utilizes tissue and blood-based biomarkers to triage patients for treatment with immunotherapeutic agents. This session will provide an overview of selection and application of biomarkers for iMATCH and share data from NCI-MATCH blood-based research.
Learning Objectives:
The participants will learn about the approach for selection of biomarkers in the iMATCH trial
Upon completion the participants will be able to discuss the current and emerging role of immunotherapy biomarkers in oncology
